Yes! When you start this program you will go through the same assessments we use in the clinic to determine readiness to run. Then we take you through a 6-week progressive running-specific strengthening workout to prepare you for the demands of running! Your training experience and ultimately your confidence in exercising and running will improve!

IS IT TRUE THAT I CAN ASK YOU GUYS FOR HELP WITH MY ISSUES IN THE DISCUSSION BOARD?

YES! If you have issues that are limiting you from participating in your [P]Rehab Running workouts, we will do everything in our power to help you find ways to not only train around your issues, but also potentially solve it as well! This is also the place to have your general questions/concerns answered by your [P]Rehab running coaches!

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

We designed this program specifically in mind for you to do at home with minimal equipment. It can easily be done at a gym too before or after your normal workouts! You would benefit from having access to weights for specific exercises, but it is not the end of the world if you don’t have access to weights. Within the app itself, we have a list of recommended equipment including exclusive discounts only for [P]Rehab Running members.

WHAT IF I RECENTLY HAD SURGERY, IS THIS STILL APPROPRIATE FOR ME? WHEN CAN I START?

We are going to take a more conservative approach and suggest this accessory workout will be more appropriate once you are closer to two-three months post-op. As you may know, there are post-op precautions and restrictions in regards to movements, your range of motion, weight lifted, and activities of daily living. It will be good to follow up with your surgeon and your physical therapist to learn these precautions and the timeline for them as there may be nuances and other details that are specific to your surgery and your scenario. It is essential you’re cleared to run prior to starting this. Do not hesitate to reach out to us directly if you’re still concerned.

AM I ABLE TO DO THIS AT THE SAME TIME AS OTHER `{`P`}`REHAB PRODUCTS ON YOUR APP?

It depends! Yes, you’re physically able to have multiple programs going on our app that you have purchased. However, it depends on which ones you have in mind as well as what you’re doing training-wise outside of our products. It is totally feasible to run one of our lower body and upper body programs/accessories (Foot & Ankle and Shoulder Programs). However, for example, it may be excessive to try and run two of our lower body programs/accessories at the same time as you may be doing two-a-days or working out every single day. We have had success stories with people running multiple programs/accessories at the same time, it just depends on what works for you!
