WHO IS APPROPRIATE FOR THE OVERHEAD STABILITY PROGRAM?

This program is for any fitness athlete looking to take their overhead lifts to the next level! The program is intended both for new and elite fitness athletes. The prerequisite for this program is adequate overhead shoulder mobility. If your shoulders are stiff or limited in motion it is recommended to first start with the Overhead Mobility Overhaul [P]Rehab Program. Also, if you’re dealing with any shoulder issue that is limiting your workout and/or training capacity, it would be best to check out our Shoulder [P]Rehab Program first.

WHY SHOULD YOU BUY IT?

If you’re a fitness athlete looking to take the guesswork out of identifying and improving their limitation(s) in performance with Overhead Stability! You will learn how to assess your own body to take control of limiting factors that are limiting your overhead lifts! WHAT IF I RECENTLY HAD SURGERY, IS THIS STILL APPROPRIATE FOR ME? WHEN CAN I START?

We are going to take a more conservative approach and suggest this program will be more appropriate once you have been cleared with zero range of motion restrictions and you’re allowed to exercise and lift weights in an overhead position by your surgeon/physical therapist. As you may know, there are post-op precautions and restrictions in regards to movements, your range of motion, weight lifted, and activities of daily living. It will be good to follow up with your surgeon and your physical therapist to learn these precautions and the timeline for them as there may be nuances and other details that are specific to your surgery and your scenario. I HAVE VERY LITTLE TRAINING EXPERIENCE, IS THIS STILL APPROPRIATE FOR ME?

This program is designed with both novice and expert fitness athletes in mind. As long as you can tolerate general exercises including core exercises and resistance training with an emphasis on overhead exercises, you will do great! The expert fitness athlete looking for further improvements in overhead stability will greatly benefit from this program! WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

This program will require a good amount of equipment due to the sport specific demands of the fitness athlete. This includes access to gym equipment including weights, barbell, dumbbells and/or kettlebells, a bench, and bands. Within the app itself for our [P]Rehab Programs we have an equipment tab for you to gain access to specific pieces of equipment if needed.

It depends! Yes, you’re physically able to have multiple programs going on our app that you have purchased. However, it depends on which ones you have in mind as well as what you’re doing training-wise outside of our products. This program is meant to be whole body inclusive as this is essential for Overhead Stability. If assessments within the program lead to a significant finding then it may be feasible to join another program. For example, if you are lacking Ankle Dorsiflexion then it would be feasible to join the Ankle Dorsiflexion Overhaul [P]Rehab Program. We have had success stories with people running multiple programs at the same time, it just depends on what works for you and your tolerance/capacity to exercise!
