Upper Body Nerve Mobility Assessments

Upper Body Nerve Mobility Assessments

This video breaks down how to assess the different nerves of the upper body. Follow along with the video for the instructions, education, and what to focus on with performing the assessments! You should have a relatively similar range of motion to what Arash shows in the video. A certain level of nerve tension is normal, especially when you perform these assessments and you go to the end-ranges that Arash demonstrates. However, say you feel A LOT of tension or sensations that you've been dealing with early on one side vs. the other, or you cannot get into the position comfortably with for example the ulnar nerve assessment, you should refer to the ulnar nerve glide exercise video and perform that specific exercise for the parameters Arash mentions (At least 2x/day for 10-15 repetitions). Do so until your range of motion improves!
