  • Shown here is one of our favorite introductory exercises for core and pillar stabilization. You must FIRST MASTER THE BASICS AND FUNDAMENTALS before moving into more progressed "fancy" stuff!! One of the biggest mistakes we see with the chop is people simply leaning into the bar and using their bodyweight to move bar. Whereas we want the POWER from our entire body and kinetic linking to move the bar!
  • One of the easiest ways to see if you athlete is leaning into the bar with their body weight is to give the cord a quick tug like Arash does to Mike at the end. If your athlete is stabilized properly, he/she shouldn't fall or even flinch. If they're leaning into the bar, they'll fall over like Mike almost does at the end!
