Dr. Grant Tinsley’s Bio: Dr. Grant Tinsley is an Associate Professor and Director of the Energy Balance & Body Composition Laboratory at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. He earned his Ph.D. in Kinesiology and Exercise Nutrition after completing bachelor’s degrees in Nutritional Sciences and Physiology, as well as a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. His current research interests are the critical evaluation of body composition assessment techniques, the influence of intermittent fasting on resistance training adaptations, and sports nutrition strategies to improve performance and body composition. Dr. Tinsley has published over 150 peer-reviewed journal articles and abstracts, directed 14 externally supported projects, and won several awards for his research and teaching achievements.
