With individualized plans of care, a holistic treatment philosophy, and a focus on education and prevention, we believe we are at the forefront of delivering healthcare the way it should be delivered. We are located in the heart of Culver City in a one of a kind 2600 square foot facility with access to state of the art equipment like VALD force plates, Exerfly flywheel, tindeq, BFR, and a fully equipped gym! Not to mention, kombucha, cold brew, and beer on tap.

With over 1.6M million fans across social media, [P]rehab is redefining how physical therapy education and programming can be delivered to the masses by utilizing technology to solve the rampant problems that we face in healthcare today.

Combining technology with 1-on-1 care allows us to best set up our clients on the path to take control of their health the way we feel they deserve. Prehab Physical Therapy was designed as an environment and community to change the landscape of healthcare as we know it, and we are excited to welcome a full-time Doctor of Physical Therapy/Content Creator to our team to help us continue our mission!

Who we are looking for

We are looking to bring on a motivated, outgoing, and passionate Doctor of Physical Therapy to improve the lives of clients both local to Los Angeles, and around the world. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a talented individual to utilize their training, experience, and communication skills to work with patients one-on-one as part of a collaborative care team while also creating content to help millions of people around the world get out of pain.

Your main responsibility would be to plan, treat, and manage clients on-site at Prehab Physical Therapy. Secondary responsibilities would be supporting the content team and customer support teams within [P]rehab, storyboarding, producing, & editing content and helping meet the needs of prehabbers from around the world.

You are someone who is a forever learner, sick of cookie cutter PT approaches, and looking for an environment where your clinical and critical reasoning skills can shine to help patients achieve their goals! You are someone who sees the patient in front of you as more than just a body part, and views themselves as a health coach, not solely a healthcare provider. You are someone who can adjust their words, actions, and delivery of information to best communicate medical concepts to a wide variety of audiences. In addition to providing high quality care to patients, you will partner closely with our social media team, flexing both your creative and clinical skills to plan, create, and post-produce content. You will also partner closely with our customer support and relationships team to help support, manage, and nurture relationships with prehahabbers across our social media platforms.

The ideal candidate has the following experience & background:

  • 2+ years in ortho/sports setting
  • confident verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong background in programing/coaching/training
  • Demonstrated proficiency and comfort in front of the camera
  • Involved in the local community & online physical therapy community
  • Licensed as a physical therapist in the state of California
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist or similar education/experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, treat, & manage your caseload to provide high quality one-on-one care to patients
  • Speak with potential new clients via discovery calls
  • Grow and maintain relationships with referral sources
  • Plan, join, and delivery on activation & marketing events in the community
  • Talent for exercise tutorial filming, social media, and paid advertisements
  • Brainstorm, storyboard, and create engaging social media content
  • Respond and meet the needs of customers and members across social media platforms
