HOW: Start by lying on your back. Bend your knees and bring them up towards your chest straight up from your hips. Have your lower legs pointing straight out creating an “L” in your legs. Place one hand on top of the opposite knee. Push down into the knee and up into your hand creating a contraction in your oblique side muscles. Hold that for as long as prescribed and repeat on both sides.
FEEL: You should feel your side core muscles working.
COMPENSATION: Maintain the table top position while you contract your core, don’t let your legs come down.
