HOW: Get started in a long sitting position by sitting up tall with your feet together and legs straight out in front of you. Loop a band around your feet. Grab the band with one hand. Pull back on the band and have your elbow bent straight out from your shoulder with your knuckles facing up. From here, press the band straight up overhead.
FEEL: You should feel your shoulder muscles working. You will also feel your core and hip muscles working to stabilize your body in this position.
COMPENSATION: Sit up nice and tall, don’t slouch forward or lean back.
