Seated Hamstring Stretch

Seated Hamstring Stretch

  • WHY: The hamstring muscles in the back of your knee can become tight after surgery and limit your ability to fully straighten your knee. Stretching these muscles can help your knee get straighter!
  • HOW: Sit at the edge of your chair. Stick your chest out and maintain this position while slowly leaning forward. Keep your toes pointed down.
  • FEEL:  You should feel a gentle stretch behind your hip, thigh, and/or knee.
