HOW: Get set-up with a bosu blue-side-up directly to the side of the foot you want to target at least a foot away. Move further away from the bosu if it is easy. Bound off the foot that is furthest away from the bosu and land onto the bosu immediately followed by bounding back to the starting position and landing on the same foot you started with.
FEEL: This should feel like you’re performing a power-focused lateral lunge onto the bosu. You want to explode off the bosu while also making sure your ankle and entire leg is stable when you land on and bound off of the bosu. You should also focus on the landing after bounding off the bosu. This should feel like a full lower body workout.
COMPENSATION: Do not let your ankle move excessive when bounding on/off the bosu or landing on the ground during the ‘stick’. Stay strong throughout your entire body to promote optimal alignment and performance.
