Who is appropriate for `{`P`}`Rehab Programs?

Our workout programs are appropriate for anyone looking to optimize a specific body region or improve a specific need. We make it easy and teach you how to take control of your own health with [P]Rehab. We give you the tools to stay healthy and ready for anything life throws at you. As long as you’re capable of using a smart device such as a phone, tablet, laptop, or even a desktop you’ll be able to access and use our products. If you have any concerns about your physical readiness to participate in the workouts we offer, we suggest you check-in and get clearance from your primary physician. We also recommend checking out the FAQ section of the specific program you’re interested in as it may answer your questions and/or concerns. Feel free to email us if you have a specific question or concern that has not been addressed here or on the specific program FAQ section.

Our programs are designed to be readily available resources to help you move better and feel better. We want to reiterate that no information provided in our programs, whether it be written content, video content, or discussion board posts is to be taken as medical or health advice. Over the past few years as Doctors of Physical Therapy, we have seen a plethora of patients and clients with a wide array of neuromusculoskeletal issues. Using the latest evidence-based research and our clinical experience, we have pioneered safe and effective [P]Rehab products that can take you from managing old issues all the way to prehabbing your body for performance. Ultimately, our goal is to teach you how to take control of your own health and live your life to the fullest without limitations!

If I have pain, are your products still right for me?

For most of our programs, we have designed a phase 1 that features rehab exercises we use in the clinic. With this phase, you will be introduced to gentle mobility, stability, and activation exercises to lay the foundational movements and build up your capacity before more advanced exercises. Furthermore, we’ve built-in regressions and alternatives to every single exercise in our program in case you have to modify for your needs.

However, pain is a very individualized experience and should be left to a medical professional to be interpreted. We recommend getting clearance from your physical therapist or your doctor prior to participating in any of our programs.

What if I recently had or I am preparing for surgery, can I still benefit from your products? When is it appropriate to start?

It totally depends on what you had/plan to have done. However, with that being said we are going to take a more conservative approach and suggest our programs will be more appropriate once you have been cleared to exercise by your surgeon/physical therapist. As you may know, there are pre/post-op precautions and restrictions in regards to movements, your range of motion, weight lifted, and activities of daily living. It will be good to follow up with your surgeon and your physical therapist to learn these precautions and the timeline for them as there may be nuances and other details that are specific to your surgery and your scenario. It is essential you’re cleared to perform exercises and you’re allowed to participate in an exercise program. Do not hesitate to reach out directly if you’re still concerned.

I am an athlete looking for high-level exercises trying to prevent injuries, are your products still appropriate for me?

When it comes to trying to prevent injuries, there is not a consistent level of evidence or body of research for every single potential injury. For instance, there is more research on ACL injuries and soccer injuries compared to wrist and hand injuries. We cannot guarantee the prevention of 100% of injuries from occurring with our products, nor should you believe anyone that says so.

However, with that being said we have taken into consideration the most common movements, demands, and injuries associated with the body region that each of our products focuses on. We identify and address known modifiable risk factors to common injuries using a comprehensive design with our workouts in efforts to facilitate injury risk reduction. All of our products focus on minimizing common overuse issues and building capacity, which is supported throughout the research to be one of the best strategies for improving overall function!

For those athletes who are seeking an additional challenge with our products, you can accommodate the resistance for yourself so that the recommended training volume, sets, and rep ranges are still challenging to truly make it PREHAB for yourself!

I have little training experience, are these products still right for me?

We recommend referring to the FAQ section of the program that you’re interested in as this answer is individualized to each of our programs. Some programs are appropriate for anyone regardless of training experience, versus some of our programs require training experience. Also, we understand that not everyone will and should progress at the same speed. If you feel like any of our workouts are at a good challenge for you, you have the option of repeating a week. We have also built-in off days into most of our products to help with your recovery, especially for those trying out a program for the first time. The best part is, you can modify the schedule of all of our products to fit your life schedule and training experience if you need to!

Is it true that I can ask you guys for help using the discussion board?

We do have a discussion board designed to share success stories, communicate with other members of the community, and get app support if and when needed. However, we cannot and will not provide medical advice on the discussion board. We have created educational videos, resource videos, and training support videos that are designed to answer the most common FAQ – we recommend checking these videos as they will likely answer your question!

How long are the workout programs?

Our [P]Rehab Programs vary from 6-16 weeks in length. Each workout session and the frequency at which you perform the workouts on a weekly basis will vary based on the specific product you purchase. However, the best part is you can modify the weekly workout frequency in the app as well as the workouts themselves on any of our products to make it fit your schedule! You have the ability to change the parameters of the exercises and add/remove exercises if needed.

What equipment do I need?

We designed most of our workouts specifically in mind for you to do at home with minimal equipment. However, this will truly depend on which program you’re interested in as some of our programs require more/less equipment. Within the app itself for our [P]Rehab Programs we have an equipment tab for anything that is shown or used in the program.

Besides exercises what else does this app include?

With our [P]Rehab Programs you get access to what we consider the best online programming you can find! You’re gaining access to the same exercises and education that we as physical therapists use in the clinic. We want to change the narrative, rather than constantly helping people with a reactive approach that ends up being focused on management or dealing with a bad 1st decision, what if we could provide people the right exercises and education at the right time to improve long term outcomes? The real power of [P]Rehab is education and we plan to empower you with the knowledge you need to take control of your own health! What payment options do I have?

Our programs vary from $49 to $129. You will always retain full access upon purchase.

How do I start using the products after purchasing?

Immediately after purchasing you will receive an e-mail showing you how to sign in and get started right away! Our products can be used on your phone via our Prehab App, computer, iPad – you name it!

How do I purchase more products if I have already purchased a different product?

In order to make sure you can access ALL of the products you have purchased under the same username – DO NOT sign up again on the ‘Sign Up’ page. What you want to do is click on ‘Log in to your account’ below the red ‘Sign Up’ box – enter your credentials, then go ahead and purchase the product. IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS STEP – you will get a failed payment or error message when you try to sign up or purchase OR you will end up with two separate accounts, which you won’t have access to all of your products on the same account. Is there a sample workout I can check out?
