With individualized plans of care, a holistic treatment philosophy and a focus on education and prevention, we believe we are at the forefront of delivering healthcare the way it should be delivered. We are located in the heart of Culver City in a one of a kind 2600 square foot facility with access to state of the art equipment. Not to mention kombucha, cold brew, and beer on tap.

Prehab Physical Therapy was designed as an environment and community to change the landscape of healthcare as we know it, and we are excited to welcome a Full time Patient Care Coordinator to our team!

Who we are looking for

We are looking to bring on a motivated, outgoing, and client-focused Patient Care Coordinator to help improve the lives of clients both local to Los Angeles and around the world. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a talented individual to utilize their training, experience, and communication skills to join a collaborative healthcare team that is transforming the delivery of healthcare as we know it.

Your main responsibility would be to deliver a one of a kind customer-forward experience to clients upholding the prehab values. Front-office and back-office responsibilities include managing clinic phone and email, converting potential leads, managing therapist schedules, coordinating patient flow, office/gym management/organization and most importantly interacting with patients in a positive and motivating manner along their rehab and prehab journey!

You are someone who is a forever learner, self-motivated, and rises to the challenge of overdelivering on the needs of clients. You are someone who sees the patient in front of you as more than just a person in pain, and views themselves as part of the collaborative health and wellness team. You are someone who can adjust their words, actions, and delivery of information to best communicate information to clients in person, on the phone, and via text/email. You are detail-oriented, organized, and operationally-focused, looking to utilize technology to streamline processes and workflows.

The ideal candidate has the following experience & background:

  • 1+ years in a gym or healthcare job; or similar service-based experience
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interest in healthcare/fitness/physical therapy
  • Motivated learner, organized, responsible
  • Empathetic, outgoing, and a people-person

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming & interacting with patients in a positive and motivating manner
  • Answering phones/emails
  • Patient scheduling
  • Assisting in the organization of the gym/office space
  • Grow and maintain relationships with referral sources
  • Plan, join, and delivery on activation & marketing events in the community
